Conventional solid state hard drives are much more expensive than mechanical hard drives. Although SSD manufacturers have also released enterprise grade SSDs, they are more expensive. If all servers use SSDs, cost will be very high, which is not affordable for ordinary enterprises.

However, since SSDs are chip-level storage, if hard drive is damaged and data is lost, data will be difficult to recover.
