Although quality of power supply will not make video card more powerful, but will increase frequency of the processor, a good power supply can still bring different experiences.
For top-end flagship PSUs, it costs more than 1 yuan per watt. If you need 800W, it will cost about 1000 RMB. Some people might think that if they are all 800W, then buy a cheaper one, like a 400W PSU for 10 RMB, and then there is still a lot of money left to add memory or a hard drive. While this statement is true, it is an economical way, but using low quality power supplies is not a good idea. Some people may ask, if there is enough power, why spend so much money to buy a high quality power supply? If it's just saving electricity, it will take a long time to save it back, and I guess a lot of people don't care about that small electricity bill.
This is where many people don't have a comprehensive understanding of food sources. High quality power supplies are not as easy as saving power, but basically have more benefits in terms of features and performance. If you look only at power output, for example they are all 850W, then single 12V output of low cost products is only 650W, while high performance products can go up to 850W. high class or even double cards. In addition, high-end power supplies often have full modules. The advantage of modular power supplies is that they save space. You can connect any cables you need to avoid mess inside case resulting in poor heat dissipation. In addition, service life of high-end power supplies starts at least ten years, which is longer than conventional power supplies, and warranty is longer. At same time, when upgrading equipment, there is no need to replace power supplies, saving money and worry.
