However, new generation of DDR4 memory has a single capacity of up to 128 GB, which is comparable. on an SSD.
4. The power consumption of DDR4 is greatly reduced, and voltage reaches 1.2V and even lower
The previous generation of DDR3 memory uses the standard voltage of 1.5V, while DDR4 memory is reduced to 1.2V, which can even be reduced. The power consumption is reduced, which saves more power and reduces memory heat generation. .
