How to determine that computer's power supply is defective?
The computer won't turn on, which is usually caused by a faulty power supply, so how do you check if the power supply is good? The editor below will teach you two quick ways to test your power supply!< /p> 
First method: short circuit test
First prepare short wire. On either side protrudes "copper wire exposing wire". You find a green line "only one green line" and other line has a lot of black lines, you choose one. Power on and short circuit, if PSU fan spins, PSU is OK.
Method 2. Multimeter detection
For friends who have conditions, you can use a multimeter to connect 1, 3 or 2, 4 ports of hard drive or optical drive power cord. This multimeter will display size of power supply voltage. These data are indicated on power supply, if they match or differ by 10%, then power supply is working.
