What is disk defragmentation for? Does Disk Defragmentation Remove Junk Files? This article will introduce you to specific disk defrag feature and how to use it.
Disk Cleanup features: Delete Temporary Internet Files, Delete Downloaded Program Files, Empty Recycle Bin, Delete Windows Temporary Files, Delete Windows Options You Don't Use, Delete Installed Programs You Don't Use Anymore. Typically, temporary internet files take up most of space because browsers cache every page you visit to speed up subsequent visits.

Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, select System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup. If you have more than one drive, you will be prompted to specify which drive to clean up. The Disk Cleanup tool calculates amount of disk space you can free up.
In Drive Disk Cleanup dialog box, scroll through Files to Remove list. Select file you want to delete and click Yes when prompted to confirm that you want to delete specified file. After a few minutes, process will complete, Disk Cleanup dialog box will close, and your computer will be cleaner and perform better.
It's a common misconception that Disk Cleanup is only meant to clean up some temporary files and compressed files that aren't used for a long time, but it doesn't actually achieve its purpose. According to accumulation of long-term use, Disk Cleanup is not for deleting files, but for cleaning up Stablize operating system.
