1. Unformatted failure
1. Double click drive letter, an unformatted prompt will appear, click yes.
2. Leave default settings and click "Start".
3. Once formatted, it can be used normally.
Second, file or directory is corrupted1. When you open drive letter, it says that file is corrupted, click "OK".
2. Click "Run" on Start menu, type "cmd" and press Enter.
3. Type command chkdsk g: /f and press Enter (here g is letter of mobile hard drive), and then after prompt "Do you want to continue" enter y and press Enter, and hard drive can be used after check is completed.
3. Other unknown malfunctions1. Right-click hard drive partition and select Properties.
2. Switch to "Tools" option and click "Start Check".
3. With both options checked, click Start.
4. Wait patiently for verification process. During verification process, information about error to be corrected will be automatically corrected. Click "Close" when finished.
