Computer video post-editing lag? Easily Improve Your PR Performance With These Few Tips
Hi everyone, I'm Xiao Jiang. Lately, many friends have been reporting that their PR videos are too slow? And my own configuration is not very low, so it's very strange. Today Xiaojiang will share with you 6 tips to improve your PR video editing performance and solve software problems!
1 Set memory usage ratio Adobe Edit-Preferences-Memory Set memory here, the recommended value is around 70%-80% and then change optimized rendering to performance mode
2 Set media cache Edit-Preferences-Media Cache Save location of cache file to a disk with plenty of memory Set the media cache control to auto-delete according to your needs
3 Use Proxy clips to create a new project - choose your recording settings and then create a proxy. The lower preset quality, smoother clip will be. After importing material into software, it will automatically transcode material, and then select + sign to find proxy clip and click. The blue color means clip is on, so video will become very smooth. When exporting, close proxy clip and switch back to original material
4 Switch preview quality to 1/4 or lower to make playback screen smoother
5 Hide all special effects, select FX on + sign to open without showing special effects preview, it will be very smooth
6 Turn off high quality playback and click on small wrench to select
The above is what I shared with you today about optimizing PR software. I hope this helps you improve your PR fluency. If you have other questions about computers, you can also leave a message in the comment area below, Xiaojiang will try to answer, thank you for your support.
