What should I do if I forgot password to turn on computer? These three methods will make you worry-free
There are many occasions when passwords are used in life. Sometimes passwords are set differently for security, but passwords will always be messed up after setting too many passwords. 1. First, you must have a bootable Windows 10 flash drive. If you don't already have one, you can use the image and create a Windows 10 installation USB drive.
2. Use Windows 10 to start U disk to boot, press Shift + F10 on first screen to open command prompt.
3. The default working path for command prompt open at this time is X:\Sources, we need to find and navigate to installation partition of Windows 10 operating system. This is usually D:\ drive. Depending on actual situation, it may differ in different environments . After confirming installation partition of Windows 10 operating system, enter System32 folder.

4. We then use following command to replace cmd.exe file with utilman.exe file corresponding to Easy Access button in Windows 10 login interface so that you can get privileges to execute commands without logging in. system.
ren utilman.exe utilman.exe.bakren cmd.exe utilman.exe
5. Now we can restart computer.
Advice. For a quick reboot, you can use wpeutil reboot command.
6. After restarting Windows 10, when we click on Easy Access button in login interface, a privileged command prompt opens. At this point, we can use following command to enable default administrator super account in Windows.
network user administrator /active:yes
When an admin user is enabled, we can use it to log in. The default system administrator privileges are very high and no password is required. After logging in as an administrator, you can reset password of any local account, which also allows you to recover password. How to do this, you can use control panel or lusrmgr.msc, I guess I don't need to say more here.
