Is computer time always wrong?
Incorrect computer time may be caused by computer poisoning or a dead CMOS battery. Open host case and locate push button power supply on motherboard. (as shown in figure below), then remove battery and replace it with a new one.
If problem still persists after replacing CMOS battery, timing circuit on motherboard may be faulty. There is a quartz crystal on main board, its size is about same as that of a resistor, and its appearance is a silver-white metal case packaging device. Its case is welded to main board and forms a timing circuit. with surrounding small capacitors, resistors and built-in block. Users may use absolute alcohol to clean circuit board around timing circuit because distributed capacitance formed by dust contamination slows down clock. If problem still cannot be solved, capacitor needs to be replaced and it is recommended to send it to professional service personnel for processing.
